For funded Summer 2026 experiences, co-funding between multiple sources of funding is only permitted if the funding jointly supports the same Summer experience (e.g. a single research endeavor with your designated faculty mentor), and if all offices agree to it.
Moreover, students can only be co-funded between opportunities in the same round of funding. The MSI fellowship is a round B opportunity, meaning that MSI fellows can only be co-funded by other round B opportunities. Importantly, your total funding amount will not exceed the amount offered by either individual program.
No, unfortunately MSI does not offer direct housing support as part of this fellowship.
